Accessibility
We're committed to an accessible web experience.
Believe In Signs is a family-owned business, and we want everyone — customers, students, staff, volunteers — to be able to use our website without friction. This page explains what we're doing, and how to reach us if something isn't working for you.
Our approach
We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That means designing for readable contrast, keyboard navigation, screen-reader friendly markup, descriptive links, and alternative text on meaningful images. This is an ongoing effort — we improve pages as we build them.
What we've built in
- Responsive layouts that work across phones, tablets and desktops.
- Keyboard-focus indicators and skip-to-content behavior.
- Semantic HTML for headings, landmarks and lists.
- Alt text on meaningful photography; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Color choices tuned for readable contrast.
Known limitations
Some pages include embedded third-party content (like maps or videos) that we don't fully control. If one of these embeds is blocking you from getting what you need, contact us and we'll provide the information a different way.
Report a barrier
If you run into an accessibility issue on this site — anything from a link you can't reach with the keyboard to text that's hard to read — please tell us. We'll do our best to fix it and, in the meantime, help you get what you need.
